Welcome to the petting zoo at Speikboden Alm at over 2,000 m altitude. Rabbits, kittens, sheep, chickens, calves and many other friendly animals are waiting to be discovered, fed and cuddled by young visitors.

NEW: Our petting zoo has moved!
You can now find it at the valley station of the Alm-Express cable car. From the Speikboden mountain station, a short and pleasant walk will take you to the Alm-Express mountain station. From there, you can use the cable car Alm-Express free of charge and ride directly down to the petting zoo. We look forward to welcoming you!

Every Thursday in July, August and September, you can watch the preparation of our traditional South Tyrolean “Breatl” live. See how the dough is prepared and baked in a wood-fired oven - and afterwards enjoy the freshly baked bread with homemade alpine butter.
