Sunrise at Speikboden
The early bird catches the worm! The same applies to Speikboden: If you want to watch a sunrise here, you have to get up early. But the 360° panorama compensates for all the efforts in the morning and guarantees unforgettable photos for the photo album.
With the cablecar Speikboden and the chairlift Sonnklar it goes up to 2400m, right in the middle of the Ahrntal mountains. Once arrived at the top, you have the opportunity to hike to the Sonnklar Cross, which is 10 minutes away, or you can hike to the Speikboden cross, which is easily reached on foot in 30 minutes. All in all an experience that should not be missed!
After sunrise, a hike to the Trejer Alm is a great option.
You can either hike down the panoramic trail or take the chairlift back up to 2,000 meters and from there hike along the Zirmweg to the Trejer Alm. A wonderful alpine breakfast awaits you there. All in all, an unforgettable experience not to be missed!
