Rental equipment 

Anyone who climbs on a via ferrata knows that they are in for a really low-risk adventure. When is the risk minimised? When visitors enter the terrain with the right equipment. Even better for all beginners is to join a guided tour. Via ferrata equipment consists of a via ferrata set, climbing harness and helmet. Before climbing an actual via ferrata, you can test how to use the equipment on one of our test rock faces. You can obtain hire equipment right next to the exit of the Speikboden cable car and then test it out next door on the test face. 

We recommend that visitors work their way upwards starting from the “Michl” via ferrata - the lowest level of difficulty - and then gradually increase the difficulty. 

Full equipment or parts of the basic equipment are available: 
•    EDELRID brand climbing harnesses for children and adults
•    EDELRID brand via ferrata sets
•    PETZL brand climbing helmets for children and adults

Full set for adults: 16,00 €
Full set for children: 8,00 € 

Single pieces of the equipment: 8,00 €

For each paying adult, one child under the age of 12 years can borrow via ferrata equipment for the same time period free of charge.
